Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Embedded Software Engineer role based in Singapore or remote (APAC region). The Embedded Software Engineer will be responsible for developing and programming embedded software systems tailored to Quantum Communication applications. Day-to-day tasks include designing and implementing software solutions, debugging and optimizing software performance, and contributing to the overall system and software architecture. The role will also involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet design requirements and ensure high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications‍

  • Proficiency in Embedded Software Programming and implementation of embedded systems
  • Strong experience in Software Development and Software Design methodologies
  • Expertise in Debugging and optimizing embedded software performance
  • Implement embedded cryptography and key-handling functions following secure coding best practices.
  • Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate microcontrollers, FPGAs, and secure hardware modules.
  • Bring-up development boards, perform debugging, and optimise firmware for performance and stability
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and effectively communicate technical concepts
  • Strong proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with quantum technologies or a strong interest in quantum communication and security is a plus
