Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Singapore or remote region for a Network Engineer. The Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing network infrastructure to ensure operational efficiency. Responsibilities include performing network administration, troubleshooting issues, maintaining network security, and optimizing network performance. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business needs and ensure seamless communication.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Network Administration and day-to-day management of network systems
  • Strong expertise in Network Engineering, including the design and setup of network infrastructure
  • Proficiency in configuring routing, switching, VPNs, encryptors, firewalls, load balancers, and secure tunnels.
  • Ability to troubleshoot network issues and implement long-term solutions
  • Understanding of encryption protocols (TLS, IPsec, certificates, key management).
  • Knowledge of Network Security protocols and measures to safeguard systems
  • Experience with Network Design to ensure scalability and efficiency
  • Effective problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are an added advantage
  • Background in telco or data centre environments (optical, backbone, carrier routing) is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Experience with quantum technologies or a strong interest in quantum communication and security is a plus
